White
White tea is harvested before the tea plants leaves open fully, when the young buds are still covered by fine white hairs, hence the name "white" tea. Because the leaves are minimally processed and low oxidation results in white tea being one of the most delicate tea varieties. White tea contains a high amount of antioxidants, as well as polyphenols, flavonoids, and tannins. These nutritional benefits have a positive effect on our health and well being.
